01   SIGNATURE KEYNOTE

Chosen, Not Just Survived

Redefining Success When Life, Leadership, or Career Changes Everything

What do you do when the career you worked so hard to build no longer fits who you are?

Sonja shares the moments that changed her path: a breast cancer diagnosis, leaving 20 years of pediatrics, and a career disruption she didn't see coming. With her Moment → Meaning → Choice → Action framework, she shows audiences how to treat change as a chance to come back to what matters and define success on their own terms.

YOUR AUDIENCE LEAVES WITH

  • A four-step framework for turning an unexpected moment into a clear next step

  • Permission to redefine success without having to start over

  • One question to carry home: where can my gifts and experience make the greatest impact?

You may not get to choose what changes your life. You can choose what comes next.

02   TECHNOLOGY AND CHANGE

AI with Intention

Leading Through Technology Without Overwhelm

The new tool was supposed to save time. Somehow the schedule got fuller.

AI promises efficiency. Without a plan for how to take it in, it often brings heavier workloads and higher expectations, and trust wears down along the way. This session is about the people asked to use the tools. Sonja gives leaders the mindset and decision skills to guide their teams through change without burning them out.

YOUR AUDIENCE LEAVES WITH

  • A way to choose how they think about new technology, instead of defaulting to overwhelm

  • A clear picture of how “time saved” can turn into more work, and how to use AI without adding to the load

  • Practical tools for leading a team through adoption when the room is already tired

03   BURNOUT AND SUSTAINABILITY

Choose What Matters

Leading Well When Everything Feels Urgent

Every inbox, every leader, every new tool says the same thing: this is urgent.

Your people don't need more time-management hacks. They need a way to decide what deserves their attention first, and permission to let the rest go. Sonja gives them a simple structure to separate what they want from what they feel they should do, sort competing demands, and decide what to keep, hand off, or make easier.

YOUR AUDIENCE LEAVES WITH

  • A repeatable way to tell a real priority from something that only feels urgent

  • A quick self-check for what deserves their attention first

  • The 3 B's, a simple method for deciding what to bag, barter, or make better

04   WELLNESS AND INNOVATION

Well to Innovate

Why Human Wellness Is a Business Strategy

Your organization is asking people to innovate while they're exhausted.

New ideas need people with the energy and the room to think. A yoga class or a meditation app can't make up for a culture that rewards running on empty. Using her wellness framework, Sonja makes the business case leaders need: when people have the capacity to do their best work, better ideas and stronger teams follow.

YOUR AUDIENCE LEAVES WITH

  • A Wellness framework for seeing what people need to think clearly and create

  • A better question to bring back to their teams: what are our opportunities to make wellness easier?

  • Practical shifts for moving from a wellness program to a wellness culture

  • A way to measure productivity by impact and capacity, instead of hours and output

Human wellness is part of the infrastructure that makes performance possible.

MEET SONJA

I've stood where your audience stands.

For 20 years, I was a pediatrician. I know the weight of a full schedule and the charts still waiting when clinic closes.

Then I moved into healthcare technology, leading clinical informatics and strategy at the director and VP level. I was the physician in the room when new tools reached clinicians, so I've seen what helps and what just adds clicks.

Along the way, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I left the career I had trained my whole life for. Later, I went through a career disruption I didn't see coming.

Today I'm a physician coach and speaker. I bring those real moments to the stage, along with tools your audience can use the next morning.
